Daily Morning Report – Date: 14.05.2025
NIFTY OUTLOOK: 24578.35 FII: -476.86 cr DII: 4273.80 cr
As discussed yesterday, market behaviour remained on expected lines. On a decisive breakdown of 24833, Nifty slipped to 24548—close to our support level of 24553.
A bearish harami pattern formed on the daily chart, with an average bearish candle engulfed by the previous bullish one, indicating potential weakness in the coming days. This sudden reversal raises concerns about the strength of Nifty. If it decisively breaks below 24483, further downside to 24389–24295 is possible. If selling pressure increases, it may test 24200.
However, confirmation is needed to validate this bearish setup. On the upside, resistance lies at 24673–24767. A breakout above this range and sustained move may push Nifty towards 24863–24957.
Bank Nifty OUTLOOK:

On 14th May 2025, Bank Nifty closed at 54940.85, down 0.80% from the previous day. The index moved 611.15 points intraday, hitting a high of 55499.65 and a low of 54888.50. The previous day’s high of 55499.65 and low of 54888.50 can be seen as resistance and support levels respectively for today’s trade.
Technical View on Daily Chart
Key technical levels for Bank Nifty are 55500 as resistance and 54700 as support. A breakout above 55500 may lead to 55800, while a breach below 54700 may drag the index to 54100. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 59; levels below 30 are considered oversold, and above 70, overbought.

Bank Nifty is trading above all 8 key SMAs (5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200-day).
It is below none of the SMAs.
No significant candlestick pattern was identified in Bank Nifty.

Note:
US stock futures remained steady after the S&P 500 closed higher, supported by softer-than-expected CPI data and trade optimism. The consumer price index rose 2.3% y-o-y in April, slightly below the expected 2.4%. On a monthly basis, CPI rose 0.2% versus the forecasted 0.3%. Core inflation, excluding food and fuel, also came in at 0.2%, below estimates.
Positive sentiment was further boosted as the US and China agreed to temporarily reduce tariffs on each other.
Lower inflation and improving trade relations may prompt the Fed to consider a rate cut, long demanded by Mr. Trump. This could lead to some correction in bullion prices and increased stability in US equities.
