  • Daily Morning Report          Date: 02.07.2025
  • NIFTY OUTLOOK: 25541.80 FII: -1970.14 cr DII: 771.08 cr
  • As discussed, the market behaved as expected. Nifty opened positively and touched a high of 25593 near our resistance of 25577, but failed to sustain and ended almost flat.
  • A doji candle on the daily chart indicates indecision in direction. However, as the previous low wasn’t broken, bulls still have hope. If Nifty crosses 25597, it may move up to 25653–25708. If demand strengthens, it could test 25763.
  • On the downside, Nifty remains under pressure as the earlier bearish engulfing pattern is still unresolved. A breakdown below 25486 may take it to 25430–25373. If selling intensifies, it may test 25319.

  • Note:
  • The impact of tariffs is beginning to reflect in the U.S. economy. Manufacturing remains weak, with new orders subdued and input costs rising, indicating that the Trump administration's tariffs are hampering business planning.
  • According to the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the manufacturing PMI rose slightly to 49.0 in June from 48.5 in May — still below the 50 mark for the fourth consecutive month, signaling contraction in the sector, which contributes 10.2% to the U.S. economy.
  • Analysis shows that prices for goods, especially from China, are rising. The median price of over 1,400 Chinese-made products sold on Amazon U.S. rose by 2.6% between January and mid-June, outpacing the core goods inflation rate.
  • On the Indian front, the country is likely to finalize an interim trade agreement with the U.S. this week, according to the Financial Times.
  • Additionally, India’s federal cabinet has approved a Rs. 1 trillion employment-linked incentive (ELI) scheme aimed at creating nearly 35 million jobs over two years. The scheme offers up to Rs. 15,000 for first-time employees and Rs. 3,000/month for two years to employers per new employee retained for at least six months.
  • This initiative is expected to boost employment and stimulate business activity, supporting overall economic growth.
